33.1. Retail Settings
There are a number of useful settings in the retail section that can modify the behavior of the retail feature and the point of sale system. When initially setting up the retail module, we especially recommend reviewing the applicable taxes rates prior to use.
To find the retail settings, head to the "Settings" page, and click the "Retail" dropdown.
Applicable Tax
If you run a single location for your retail business, everything will be configured in one business group (usually your system-wide business group); alternatively, if you have multiple locations, you may have retail enabled for multiple business groups. Because applicable tax rates may change from location to location, you can set which tax rates apply on a per business group basis.
The taxes charged to the customer will be based on the applicable taxes for the location (business group) and the taxes that apply to the specific item.
From the settings page, you can enable or disable tax rates for the current location (business group).
If you have more than one tax, check all of the boxes that will be used for differing retail items.
Receipt Template
From the receipt template you can configure the appearance of the receipt, as well as how the receipt prints during a transaction.
Pay Later
If you want to allow guests to be able to run a tab (especially useful for lodging guests or people about to leave on a trip), enable the pay later option. More information on the pay later feature is located in the pay later documentation section later in this chapter.

Enter your company's shipping and contact info here for Arctic to use for purchase orders.
