1. Introduction

Zach and I spoke back in December about potentially adding a report that will help reduce the burden of the BLM audit requirements, specifically regarding the need to present a "cash receipts deposit log" that can be reconciled with bank statements based on deposits. (I think most other audit requirements, such as reservation listings can already be easily generated using the built in filter reports in Arctic.)

Arctic already has the capability and some of the data needed for this "cash deposit log", and a newly added custom report (that should be active on your installation) presents this in a way that matches the BLM's format (which admittedly is somewhat hard to decipher and not quite as useful as they hope).

The new report will not be a panacea for the next audit, but it should help and will enable easier compliance with the documentation requirements that the BLM has issued.
