35.3. Enabling Retail Items For E-commerce

By default, items are not available online. To enable the e-commerce option for a retail item, edit the retail item.

Although not required, it is a good idea to include an image for the item. That will make the online shopping experience much more appealing to users. For best results use a 1:1, or square, aspect ratio.

Next, open the "E-commerce" section and change "Available Online" to yes.



Once you make the item available online, Arctic will ask for some more information. The only required information is a shipping classification, but you can provide more detailed information and categorization details for the online interface as well.


Once this information is entered, click submit and the item will appear in the e-commerce store on your guest-facing site.
