13.2. Reservation Details
After you successfully created your new reservation, Arctic took you to the "View Reservation" page as shown here:
Notice the menu at the right of the screen.
The "Edit" button is where you can edit the reservation, you can change the trip, the number of guests, the "Bill To" information, Add-ons, notes etc.
The "View Invoice" button takes you to the invoice for the reservation and allows you to take payments and apply manual discounts etc. (For more information about editing invoices and processing payments see the Invoice Guide.)
The "Email Reservation Details" button allows you to email your guest all of the details about their reservation including the customer notes. If you have multiple templates assigned to the "Reservation Details" email configuration you will be able to select the one you wish to use and Arctic will open an editor window with the appropriate template.
If your guest is not making any payments on their invoice and does not need any additional discounts or customizations for their invoice, you can use the "Email Invoice" button to email a copy of the "unedited" invoice to your guest. You will not be able to view the invoice to make sure it is correct when you email it from the "Reservation Details" page. If you need to add anything to the invoice or just want to view it to verify it is correct prior to emailing it you will use the "View Invoice" button.
The "Cancel" button, will allow you to cancel the reservation.
The "Remove" button will allow you to delete the reservation. This button is only shown to those users with "Super User" or "Administrator" permissions.
The "Return" buttons will take you to the "Browse Reservations" page where you can browse all of the active reservations.
Also notice, the "Guest List". Arctic shows the number of openings on the reservation. The first spot on the list is assign to the guest who made the reservation and their name is filled in as shown. You can also see what pricing level each guest is being charged for and what optional add-ons have been assigned to each guest. If only two of the guests got a particular add-on Arctic will automatically add those to the first to guests on the "Guest List".
As you can see from the "Reservation Details" page you can access several key features related to the reservation, the invoice or the guests.
